Adam Hobbs kicked things off over 20 years ago, making TV commercials and helping local brands look their best on screen. But the 16:9 frame didn’t quite fit the vision he had in mind.
As media evolved and marketing became multi-channel, Adam knew clients needed more than just good video — they needed a full creative crew who could help bring big ideas to life. So he built it.

What Drives Him
What fuels Adam? Opportunity. Not the buzzword kind — the real kind. The moment he sits down with a client and sees what their business could become. The untapped potential. The angle no one else has noticed yet. That’s the part that gets him out of bed. Whether it’s a national franchise or an established business ready to scale, Adam loves spotting the gap and helping close it.
And then making sure it actually happens. Because great ideas without execution are just expensive daydreams. Adam built Admedia around one simple principle: understand what the client needs, deliver it properly, and don’t overcomplicate the process. We get it. We get it done.

Twenty years in, Adam’s still hands-on. He’ll be in the creative concepting sessions, on set with a camera, knee-deep in strategy. And when he nails that perfect frame — the one where the light hits just right, where everything clicks — it still gives him goosebumps. That craft, that precision, that love for the work? It runs through everything Admedia does.

Here’s the thing about running an agency in regional Australia: most businesses have to cobble together multiple agencies, freelancers, and vendors just to get a campaign off the ground. Adam built Admedia to be the opposite of that — one team, full service, everything under one roof. Creative, media, digital, production. No handoffs. No gaps. Just a crew that actually talks to each other and gets it done.
Where We Are Now
Admedia grew from a one-man production shop to a full-service agency with a team of 15 legends spread across multiple cities. The mission’s stayed the same: create great work, make the process easy, and have a bit of fun while we’re at it.
(And yep, we still make a pretty good TV ad.)
